April 21 - 27 (6:06)

Mon
am (:40) Crosslites. Feeling like I might just live. Still pretty congested and weak, but took it very easy on Cat W trail and felt ok. Achy at night.

Tue
am (:32) Slingshots. Feeling a little better today. Ran Colebrooke trail loop from N. Trail. Sinuses are the worst now.
pm (:43) CL. Colebrooke trail plus add-on. Feeling better tonight. Hope to do more tomorrow.

Wed
am (:42) Fireblades. Ran Paudyn and Colebrooke Trails. Didn't feel too bad. Sinuses still bad.
pm (:45) Raceblades. Paudyn and Colebrooke again with Sara. Felt a little better.

Thu
pm (:20) CL. Easy on North trail. Felt pretty rough last night with a fever again. Went to doctor today for sinus infection. Put me on antibiotics for 10days.

Fri
pm (:30) FB. Easy on Cat W tr with Sara and Jesse. Feeling a little better. Still a bit weak and achy.

Sat
pm (:52) CL. Easy on North Trail and Paudyn E. Feeling much better today. Legs a little tired and sore, but feels good to be doing more.

Sun
pm (1:02) CL. Easy on North Trail, Paudyn and Colebrooke. Felt pretty good today. Coughing quite a bit, but more energy.

Week Total = 6:06
~ Starting to feel quite a bit better after getting on antibiotics for sinus infection. Will gradually increase next week and hope to be back to normal training by next weekend.

April 14 - 20 (11:36)

Mon
am (1:12) North Trail to Colebrooke Loop. Nice and relaxed.
pm (:30) Easy run with Sara.

Tue
am (1:38) Nice run on Cat W. Ran part with Rick. Beautiful morning.
pm (:46) Paudyn and Colebrooke Trails with Sara. Felt good.

Wed
am (2:00) Steady run. Cat Tr W to Camden East, then airport loop and back Cat. Blistered a bit in shoes without socks. Ran last night without any and was fine, but more dirt got in shoes today.
pm (:40) Easy run on Cat trail E. Have a bit of a cold, but not too bad.

Thu
am (1:35) Easy run to Sandpit loop, Colebrooke Loop and back on Paudyns. Nice run. Don't feel great, but took it easy and was fine.
pm (:40) Easy run on Hare trails.

Fri
am (1:00) Easy run. Felt pretty lousy today. Paudyn trails from home.
pm (:35) Paudyn trail wearing Five Fingers. Felt ok, but tired.

Sat
pm (:25) Pretty sick last night and today. Took it very easy on Paudyns.

Sun
pm (:35) Still pretty sick. A little better than yesterday. Ran North trail to Colebrooke Loop.

Weekly total = 11:36
~ Wasn't exactly the weekend of training that I had planned to get this weekend. Had hoped to get a good long run in, but still feeling rough.

Apr 7 - 13 (14:46)

Mon
am (:46) Steady run on Cat W trail Trail mostly bare, so good footing. Will be starting to ramp up the mileage this week now.
pm (:45) Easy run on Cat W again.

Tue
am (1:12) Steady run on Cat W tr past Curl Rd. Felt really good and struggled to turn around. Feels really good to be back at it.
pm (:30) Easy on Cat W Trail.

Wed
am (1:29) Steady run on Cat W trail to Avenstone Loop. Felt really good. Moving along really well in places.
pm (:31) Nice run in Free's on road and trail with Sara.

Thu
am (1:30) Beautiful day. Great run. Was flying at times. Warner trails, Wilton South to dogsled hookup, then back on Hare Trail. Muddy in places, but nice. Crosslites such a great shoe in mud.
pm (:40) Nice run with Sara on Hare Trail in Slingshots. Felt good.

Fri
am (1:07) Ran in Kingston. Some road when necessary, but grass when possible. Cold and rainy. Was going to run on the treadmill, but just couldn't stomach it. Ran to Belle Park along waterfront and on golf course.
pm (:40) Easy run on Cat E w/Sara.

Sat
am: (1:15) Steady on Cat W to Grass hill past Curl Road. Lots of wildlife with 5 deer, 1 coyote and a large white hare. Was a little tired from not enough food before.
pm (:35) Ran to the store and back to get newspaper.

Sun
pm (3:46) Wilton Trail loop, Cat W, North Trail, Hunt Camp Loop, Paudyn Trail, + a few short add-ons. Ran with Sara for the first 2 hrs. Ran pretty hard between hours 2-3, then faded a bit. Good run.

Weekly total = 14:46
~ Good week. Feels great to be back in the groove.
